The interview event started from March 20th continuing up to April 18th, and it recorded 313,000 page hits as well as 217,000 visitors and 24,000 participants in Korea alone. The response was also explosive in Taiwan and Hong Kong, as 252,6000 hits were received from the local areas, as well as 96,915 page visitors and 26,000 participants.

On April 26th, the ‘Yahoo! Celeb Mission Interview with Kim Hyun Joong’ was held, and 5 fans were selected from Hong Kong and Korea to ask him questions they’ve been wanting to ask. Even when fans asked silly questions such as which era would he like to visit if he could hop into a time machine, Kim Hyun Joong was not caught off-guard and maintained a fun atmosphere on set.

He also didn’t forget to bring out his 4D personality while stating, “If I had the opportunity, I would like to see the Mayan civilization or the Inca Empire with my very own eyes. I’m also very curious about conspiracies, so I would like to go back in time to try and arrest the man that assassinated former president John F. Kennedy.”

Kim Hyun Joong’s full interview with Yahoo! will be unveiled early May through ‘Yahoo! Celeb’, and the singer is currently preparing for his ‘Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting Tour 2012‘, which will kick off this May as well.

[poll] Kim Hyun Joong the #1 ‘healing idol’?

Another random poll has taken place, and through it, Kim Hyun Joong has been dubbed as a ‘healing idol’.

The music site Monkey3 conducted an online survey with the title “Who is the ‘healing idol’ that you can be healed from just by looking at them?”

In this survey, 1953 people participated, and Kim Hyung Joong claimed first place with 1044 votes, or 53% of the total.

The participants responded, ‘I get happy when I look at him‘, and ‘Both my eyes and heart are healed by him.’

In second place, with 37% of the votes, was Yonghwa, the member of popular idol band, CNBLUE.

The bubbly IU clinched third place, while the fourth spot went to Big Bang‘s G-dragon, with his extraordinary musical talent and style. Rounding up the top five was miss A‘s Suzy, with her cute school girl charm.

Ahead of his first independent fan meeting, Kim Hyun Joong is unsettled by the controversy surrounding the price of the fan meeting tickets.

On May 18th and 19th, Kim Hyun Joong will be holding his ‘2012 Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting In Taiwan‘, and the tickets are currently being sold between 30,000 KRW (~$27) to 200,000 KRW (~$180). Some reports in the Taiwanese media state that the fans feel the prices for the tickets are too high, putting both Kim Hyun Joong and the organizing team in a sticky situation.

A representative from the organization team informed OSEN on April 20th, “We are aware that there is some controversy surrounding the price of the tickets. But this fan meeting is different from all the others. Though its called a ‘fan meeting’, it is on the same scale as a quality concert performance.”

“Kim Hyun Joong is actively participating in planning this fan meeting,” the rep continued. “He has prepared 14 song performances for the fan meeting, and has prepared a event where fans can win prizes full of cosmetics from the cosmetic brand he endorses. He is unsettled at the controversy in the local area, and he is planning an excellent event that will not disappoint the fans. Please look forward to it.”

The tickets for this event were priced similarly to tickets for other Hallyu star fan meetings in the local area. The price was also not an issue in Singapore or Hong Kong, where Kim Hyun Joong recently performed.

In related news, Kim Hyun Joong will soon be launching his Asia Tour, starting in Singapore and traveling to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and more.

Surprisingly, we got a few emails from some truly generous and kindhearted Henecians from US, SG and Canada in the past week. Knowing that some fans could not go to the FMs because of $ issue, they sent us $ to buy FM tickets for fans who desperately wanted to go to the FMs = whether in SG, HK or TW.

So far, we have managed to hook up 2 PH friends, 2 TW students and 1 MY to go to TW (The PH and MY peeps pay for the lodging and flight themselves. We just give them the sponsored tix).

Coming up, we're going to hook up 5 more deserving fans to go to the SG FM.

We were genuinely surprised and felt honoured how there are fans who CANNOT come to the FMs themselves or feel that since they can, they want to help others who desperately want to see HJ at least once in their lives.
