HyunJoong is leaving Taiwan tomorrow morning (nanet: that's today) at 7:45am via China Airline CI160. He will arrived in Incheon Airport around 11:10am KST. Calculating backward, it means he had to check in around 5:45am, leaving the hotel around 4:45am, getting up around 4am. Heard that his team were partying just now in the hotel to celebrate the end of the Taiwan FM. Hmm... seems like he won't be having lots of rest tonight.
Hope he can rest well on plane later or when he is back in Korea, he seemed to be looking more tired recently with the back-to-back weekly fan meetings. Kim HyunJoong's birthday falls on 6 June, fans who known about that yesterday, other than from Taiwan, Korea, and big group of Japan, Hong Kong and Greater China fans, fully packed the NTU Sports Center, singing Korean version of Birthday song, making him to felt very touched. In order to return to his fans, starting from 9pm he had been shaking hands or fingers intertwined or even hug passionately until the last fan, then returning to rest in hotel, making lots to say 'worth the price paid'.

Kim Hyun Joong, exuding affable and charm, held his 2nd Taiwan Fan meeting yesterday. There were not only fans who dressed up in a wedding dress wanting to present herself as a birthday present to him, there was also a 70 year old grandmother who flew all the way from the United States. This gesture made Hyun Joong very touched. In order to reciprocate the fans, Hyun Joong started the Hi 5 Session at 9pm which included intertwining fingers with fans and warm hugs. Until every fan has been Hi5 only then did he head back to the hotel to rest. Everyone agreed that ‘It was worth the price’.
As for the fan who was dressed as a bride, she was lucky to be selected as one of the fans to come up on stage. She requested Hyun Joong to re-enact a famous Korean designer Andre Kim’s action, and took a photo with Hyun Joong with intertwined fingers looking at the camera, to the envy of all the fans in the stadium. Korea popular male star Kim HyunJoong held his fan meeting on 18th. Once started he 'broke egg' to make his appearance, performing singing and dancing, revealing his abs, other than singing 15 songs passionately. He even had some interactions on stage with fans, filming 'bed show'.
'U:zoosin' Kim HyunJoong on 18th & 19th, for 2 nights hold his fan meeting at NTU Sports Center, but the stage effect was totally concert grade. Making his appearance at the start from a planet 'breaking an egg to come out', causing fans to scream. He who opened the show with hit song, wearing black jacket, with nothing inside, revealing his 'dots' from time to time (Mini UFO: erm... u know what 'dot' I m referring to right? kekeke). After the hit dance was ended, the entire line of buttons were unbutton, revealing his abs, causing his lady fans at venue to feel high!
Other than hit dance and songs, Kim HyunJoong also sang ballad passionately, even invited lucky fans on stage, giving a gigantic teddy bear as present; during mid of the show, he even drew lots to select fans to play game with him, allowing 5 lucky fans to go on stage to pose according to movie poster, among them were 'looking affectionately at each other' pose from 'Water for Elephants'; 'Standing back to back' pose from 'Pretty Woman'; 'circling waist from back flying high' pose from 'Titanic'; but there was a fan who was unlucky and selected the solo photo 'Amélie', luckily she still have Kim HyunJoong to help her took a photograph.
As for the fan who had selected the 'Joker card', originally thought that she would not have a chance for close contact, unexpectedly after being sent to back stage, staff 'placed her on bed' and pushed her out, causing the envy of all fans! Kim HyunJoong other than singing passionately to her, even made use of shadow to fake kiss her hand. However when the screen was exposed, it had been switched to 2 staff, he and his fans magically raised up gradually on stage, making lots of fans to 'feel relief' that both of them didn't 'real kiss'.
This fan meeting cost was over NT3.5million (approx USD117K), Kim HyunJoong had changed 4 sets of costume, basically it was modeled after a concert concept, singing and interactions continued until around 21:40, following by that was the High touch' moment which fans had long awaited, it was said that Kim HyunJoong had personally made the request for this activity, allowing fans who didn't have a chance to interact with him to also able to meet their idol in close contact.

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong will be holding a free concert in Japan this July!
Kim Hyun Joong’s agency Key East reported on May 18th, “We are planning to hold a showcase to commemorate Kim Hyung Joong’s second Japanese single ‘HEAT‘ at the Saitama Super Arena, and hold a free concert at the same time.”
“The event will take place in two sessions on July 15th,” they continued.
This Japanese concert is a large-scale event, where 32,000 of his fans who purchased his packaged album of both the Korean and Japanese versions were selected to attend at no additional charge.
Not only will the singer be performing 14 songs live including his new single “Heat“, he will also be inviting Japanese musician B’z to stand on stage with him. There are a variety of special events also prepared that will be entertaining for the fans.
In related news, Kim Hyun Joong has been touring countries in Asia to hold fan meets since last May. He recently completed fan meets in Hong Kong and Singapore, and will be in Taiwan on the 18th and 19th.

never liked her protrayal of Jandi in BOF, or maybe i just never did like that character. and she had made that character a wee bit too rough for my liking *shrugs*

but but but… that said, from what i’ve read about her, she does seem to be one talented lady outside of these un-real dramas. when she’s not acting and when she’s not in school, she seems to spend a fair bit of time writing screenplay, directing and even sketching (or izzit painting?) anyway, she appears to be quite multi-faceted.
hehe, she’s a YG artist!! (for the uninitiated, that’s the agency Big Bang is under, keke!)
anyway, came across this article about her tonight and thought there really is something deeper than the simpleton Jandi in her. thank goodness for that… hee!

In the episode of “Star Life Theater” on May 7, Goo Hye Sun took the subway to school. She commented, “I take the subway regularly. Usually, I get on at Bupyeong station, but I got on at the Express Bus Terminal station today.”

she’s spot on, you know…? that actually she hasn’t changed and logically, if her home and her destination are still the same as before she got famous, then why can’t she take the subway now? just because people recognize her? or more because famous people ain’t ‘supposed’ to be taking the subway? who makes these rules anyway? and should she be changing the way she travels just because of these strange pre-conceived celeb notions?
if she can internalize the fact that nothing much has changed and the subway is just a convenient and practical form of transport for her, then she CAN take the subway… provided she can manage the stares and autograph requests.
now if only we all can rid the notion that we have to play by other people’s rules and that we have to cower to other people’s expectations (of us!), then we all can be liberated.
but really, if you think about it… it’s all in our own heads. more often than not, we ourselves are the ones telling ourselves we can’t. but why the hell not? it’s OK to be different, it’s generally OK to break the rules so long as breaking them doesn’t kill or hurt you (or anyone else, for that matter)

Kim Hyun Joong‘s recent visit to Hong Kong has been the topic of headlines with the Hong Kong media.
On May 13th, Key East Entertainment revealed, “Kim Hyun Joong left for Hong Kong on the 11th for his fan meet. His visit, press conference, and fan meet reports were the topic of headlines in major Hong Kong media outlets like ‘Wenweipo‘, ‘Sing Tao‘, and ‘The Sun‘.”
Media outlets dedicated several pages focusing just on his activities within Hong Kong. One reported,“Thousands of fans gathered at the scene of his press conference. On the KBS 2TV "Star Theater" on the 10th of May, she said, "I changed by path from a singer to an actress thanks to Yang Hyeon-seok".
She said, "I was actually training to be a singer. Then I met Yang Hyeon-seok. He asked me to sing so I did and after a while he asked if I was interested in being an actress".
